The T20 Mumbai League is back for a fourth season and honestly, the squad lists this year might be the best they’ve ever put together. Eight franchises, all led by proper international stars, going at it across 23 matches at the Wankhede from June 1 to 13. When you’ve got Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, and Yashasvi Jaiswal playing in the same city league, it stops being just a local tournament pretty quickly.
MSC Maratha Royals won the whole thing last year, beating SoBo Mumbai Falcons in the final, and they’ve kept most of that core together. Tushar Deshpande stays on as their Icon Player and the auction brought in Chinmay Sutar (Rs 9.50 lakh) and Irfan Umair (Rs 9 lakh) to beef things up further. They’ll have a target on their backs from Day 1 though.
What really separates this tournament from other state leagues is the talent blend. You’ve got guys who’ve played World Cups sharing a dressing room with 19-year-olds who are desperate to make a name. Ayush Mhatre, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Musheer Khan, Suryansh Shedge, these are names IPL scouts are already tracking and the Mumbai T20 League is where they get to prove themselves against the very best.
T20 Mumbai League 2026 Teams and Icon Players

Every franchise gets one marquee Icon Player who basically becomes the face of the team for the season.
| Team | Icon Player |
|---|---|
| Aakash Tigers MWS | Sarfaraz Khan |
| ARCS Andheri | Shivam Dube |
| Bandra Blasters | Yashasvi Jaiswal |
| Eagle Thane Strikers | Shardul Thakur |
| MSC Maratha Royals | Tushar Deshpande |
| North Mumbai Panthers | Ajinkya Rahane |
| SoBo Mumbai Falcons | Shreyas Iyer |
| Triumph Knights MNE | Suryakumar Yadav |
Aakash Tigers MWS
Sarfaraz Khan is one of those batters who can just take a game away from you in ten overs if you let him settle. Shams Mulani’s left-arm spin gives them a genuine wicket-taking option through the middle, and Jay Bista adds solidity in the top order. Not the flashiest squad on paper, but a team that could grind out results.

Squad: Sarfaraz Khan (Icon), Shams Mulani, Jay Bista, Vinayak Bhoir, Akash Anand, Sourabh Singh, Naman Pushpak, Ajit Yadav, Akshat Jain, Shashank Attarde, Prince Badiani, Saksham Parashar, Ankur Singh, Sagar Patil, Kruthik Hanagavadi, Varun Lavande, Jay Dhatrak, Harsh Rane, MD Jamshed Alam, Arnav Dhole
ARCS Andheri
This squad caused a stir at the auction. Musheer Khan went for Rs 11 lakh, Arjun Tendulkar for Rs 10 lakh, and Prasad Pawar cost Rs 11.50 lakh. Add Shivam Dube’s power hitting at the top and suddenly ARCS look like one of the most dangerous sides in the competition. They spent big and they got talent. Whether it all clicks together in a 13-day tournament is the question.

Squad: Shivam Dube (Icon), Pragnesh Kanpillewar, Deepak Shetty, Prasad Pawar, Musheer Khan, Arjun Tendulkar, Divyaansh Sksena, Gaurav Jathar, Hrishikesh Gore, Himanshu Singh, Karthik Shaji Kumar, Siddid Tiwari, Ayush Jethwa, Kiaan Parekh, Ashutosh Ghagre, Ajay Mishra, Prasoon Singh, Moin Ahmed, Rishi Shah
Bandra Blasters
Yashasvi Jaiswal at the top of the order is the kind of luxury most city league teams can only dream about. On his day he can make any attack look ordinary. Suved Parkar and Dhrumil Matkar bring dependable domestic runs below him, and the bowling has enough variety to keep things competitive. How much Jaiswal’s actually available around India duties will probably decide how far the Blasters go.

Squad: Yashasvi Jaiswal (Icon), Suved Parkar, Dhrumil Matkar, Royston Dias, Jay Jain, Karsh Kothari, Sagarr Chhabriaa, Dhanit Raut, Prateekkumar Yadav, Om Keshkamat, Parag Khanapurkar, Tatsat Singh, Aadit Bahutule, Atif Attarwala, Aashray Sajnani, Virendra Yadav, Sohum Sabnis, Sairaj Nair, Hersh Tank, Aditya Anand
Eagle Thane Strikers
Shardul Thakur gives you everything. Bat, ball, fielding, experience. He’s the kind of player who can rescue you from 60-4 and also take three wickets in the powerplay. Atharva Ankolekar’s left-arm spin is a real weapon in the middle overs, and there’s a bunch of young all-rounders like Sumeir Zaveri and Amartya Raje who could step up. The Strikers look like they’ve got options, which is what you want in T20 cricket.

Squad: Shardul Thakur (Icon), Atharva Ankolekar, Sairaaj Patil, Onkar Tarmale, Sumeir Zaveri, Amartya Raje, Rohan Ghag, Shashwat Jagtap, Vinay Kunwar, Manan Bhatt, Siddhant Singh, Aditya Giri, Anuj Giri, Ayaan Jain, Dhanay Parekh, Eknath Kerkar, Kartik Mishra, Shashikant Kadam, Shaun Rodrigues, Shivansh Singh
MSC Maratha Royals (Defending Champions)
They won it last year and they’ve come back looking even stronger. Tushar Deshpande’s death bowling was probably the single biggest reason they lifted the trophy, and having Siddhesh Lad anchor the batting gives them a platform most games. Chinmay Sutar and Irfan Umair were smart auction buys. This is a squad that knows how to win, and that counts for a lot in a short tournament.

Squad: Tushar Deshpande (Icon), Siddhesh Lad, Rohan Raje, Chinmay Sutar, Irfan Umair, Aditya Dhumal, Maxwell Swaminathan, Ayaz Ahmed, Sahil Jadhav, Aryan Patni, Pratik Shukla, Arjun Dani, Atharva Bhosale, Sachin Yadav, Shreyanssh Rai, Shreyas Gurav, Yash Gadia, Om Bangar, Jitendra Paliwal, Swaraj Parulkar
North Mumbai Panthers
Ajinkya Rahane might not have the flashiest T20 game, but at this level his experience reading situations is worth its weight in gold. Tanush Kotian is a quality off-spinner who can bat too, Hardik Tamore keeps wicket neatly and chips in with runs, and Vaibhav Mali does a bit of everything. This feels like a side built on cricket smarts more than raw firepower. Sometimes that’s enough.

Squad: Ajinkya Rahane (Icon), Abhigyan Kundu, Tanush Kotian, Vaibhav Mali, Ayush Vartak, Hardik Tamore, Mohit Avasthi, Harsh Tanna, Aayush Zimare, Pratik Mishra, Aaryaraj Nikam, Anish Chaudhery, Kevin D’Almeida, Pravesh Pal, Rahul Sawant, Rohit Pol, Yashovardhan Singh, Aaditya Singh, Siddharth Akre
SoBo Mumbai Falcons
Lost last year’s final and they’ll be hungry. Shreyas Iyer captaining a side with Angkrish Raghuvanshi and the tournament’s priciest buy Akash Parkar (Rs 12 lakh) makes the Falcons genuine title contenders. Aditya Tare brings years of experience behind the stumps and Siddharth Raut can bowl quick. They came up just short last season. You’d bet they won’t want that feeling again.

Squad: Shreyas Iyer (Icon), Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Harsh Aghav, Akash Parkar, Ishan Mulchandani, Siddharth Raut, Aditya Tare, Nikhil Giri, Yash Dicholkar, Prathamesh Dake, Kavya Gori, Khan Awais Naushad, Arhan Maker, Gautam Waghela, Mayuresh Tandel, Yash Ramchandani, Vedant Gore, Muhammad Taha
Triumph Knights Mumbai North East
SKY. That’s the whole pitch right there, isn’t it? Suryakumar Yadav is the biggest draw in this entire tournament and when he walks out to bat at the Wankhede, the atmosphere changes completely. But there’s real substance around him too. Ayush Mhatre is frighteningly talented for his age, Suryansh Shedge can win you games with bat or ball, and Akhil Herwadkar knows Mumbai cricket inside out. This lot could go all the way.

Squad: Suryakumar Yadav (Icon), Ayush Mhatre, Suryansh Shedge, Akhil Herwadkar, Sagar Mishra, Sylvester Dsouza, Vedant Gurav, Nutan Goel, Parikshit Valsangkar, Vedant Murkar, Prasann Shukla, Aishwary Surve, Asif Shaikh, Bharat Patil, Hitesh Kadam, Jigar Rana, Makarand Patil, Utkarsh Raut, Shikhar Thakur, Minadd Manjrekar
Conclusion: Eight Loaded Squads Make Season 4 the Strongest Mumbai T20 Edition Yet
Four seasons in and the T20 Mumbai League just keeps getting bigger. Seven India internationals as Icon Players, auction bids crossing Rs 12 lakh for individual picks, and a bunch of young cricketers who could genuinely end up in IPL squads within the next year or two.
MSC Maratha Royals have the pedigree of defending champions but SoBo Falcons want revenge, Triumph Knights have SKY, and ARCS Andheri spent like they mean business. All of it happening at the Wankhede across 13 days with tickets from Rs 99. Hard to ask for much more from a city T20 league.
